Objectified : A Documentary Film by Gary Hustwit

Objectified is the follow up to the hugely successful Helvetica documentary film by Gary Hustwit. The film is second in a trilogy of design related documentary films by Hustwit.

The film will be screening in the IFI on Tuesday 2nd June (nearly sold out) with Q&A with director Gary Hustwit, and Friday June 19th.

Get your tickets here. For those that don’t know, the IFI is located in Temple Bar, Dublin.

So whats the film all about? Taken from the Objectified website:

“Objectified is a feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them. It’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. It’s about the designers who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. It’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability. “
