Dublin Fringe Festival is taking place this year from the 5-20 September. I only came across the festival website today, and the schedule is packed! There really is something for everyone.
I’d be here all day if i was to try go through the full programme – check out the website to see the full list of events. Packed full of art, music, film and dance events, you’re sure to find something that will entertain you. And the tickets for the various events really aren’t too expensive.
My pick of the lot are:
Recession: Opportunity Knocks, 9th September, 19:00 @ the Metro Bosco Theatre. “This town hallstyle evening brings together the people who are spotting opportunities and shaping Dublin’s cultural fabric. Hear their ideas, their experiences, and the ways in which a generation is addressing a recession as a fresh opportunity.” Featuring the likes of artist Bren B on the panel, this talk looks to be worth attending – tickets are just €6, get them here.
Street Art Club, 9th September @ the Bernard Shaw. A first for the Fringe Festival this year – take part in this club with graff artist Will St Ledger, places are limited to only 20 – sure to be great fun.
Synth Eastwood Presents “Synth Eastwood Has You Surrounded”, 10th September. 10pm – 2am @ The Spiegel Tent, St. Georges Dock.
