Weekend Tunage: Suburban Kids With Biblical Names

This weekend’s tunage comes from Suburban Kids With Biblical Names, yeah you heard right. Epic band name. I originally had something else planned, but Chris sent on this track during the week and it’s perfect to put you in a summery mood on a friday, horray!

The band are from sweden, and have a couple more summery indie pop tunes up their sleeves. I’m digging their track ‘1999’ also. Anyways take a listen of Funeral Face below – happy weekend y’all.

Weekend Tunage: Lend Me Your Face [80KIDZ Remix]

FLAThis week’s weekend tunage is something I heard on Phantom last week, and it’s a remix by Tokyo’s 80KIDZ of the Fight Like Apes track, Lend Me Your Face. It’s due to be released on 4th Dec. Also, according to, FLA will be giving away a free 17 track live album on 17th Dec, through their website. Unfortunately, there is no video I can post for this, so just click play and enjoy.

Weekend Tunage – Ellie Goulding

Where’s this girl after coming out of?! Spotted Ellie Goulding’s performance on Jools Holland last week, and looked her up. She’s from the same background recording wise as Marina & The Diamonds – releasing this single through Neon Gold Records, so she’s in good company!

Loving this video – I really want to buy shit loads of gold glitter & a drum. Done!

Weekend Tunage – Ou Est Le Swimming Pool

Ok so on first glance you’re probably going to think these guys seem like edgits (that was my first reaction anyways), especially with an name like Ou Est Le Swimming Pool. But that said, this is a damn catchy tune. Check out their MySpace if you want to find out more about them – I’m liking their stuff so far.

Anyways this should do the job and get you in weekend mode, it’s Friday yay! Happy Halloween 🙂
